Smudge

...taking care of all these kitties over Christmas. I'd say I saw more beauty in one week than if I  had died and gone to heaven.
Hope to see them again soon.

  1. I wish you lived close to me. I'd love to find someone like you to cat sit.

Your pictures are wonderful. I'm wondering what the secret is for keeping their eyes from glowing in the pictures? Do you touch them up or not use a flash?

I've loved cats since I was little. My mother was never too crazy about cats, but when I was three or four years old I'd sit outside and wait for a cat to walk by. Let me tell you they don't walk by very often. Finally, she relented and I got my first cat. I now have seven indoor cats and three feral cats outside that I've managed to tame. Their mother still comes by every few days, but someone down the street feeds her too. I had all of them fixed so there will be no more kittens.

Happy New Year! I enjoy your blog.

  2. I never use a flash, Betty. Try to use the light from a window to do the lighting for you. Go in close to the cat and if you have a light (lamp) near by bring it in close for extra light. The sunlight is the best. thank you for dropping by and I, too wish I lived close by so I could care for all your 7 cats. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x5
