Your stair railings look so pretty but I have to ask you, do the kitties swat at those cute little hangy downs! :)
Yep, I have those cheater glasses all over the place and have recently put some in the kitchen so I can read 'directions'! ;)
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6305853571849549221.post-82605915396876699222011-12-01T18:23:59.729-05:002011-12-01T18:23:59.729-05:00p.s. Well, I only wore the ones you bought at the store..and of course sometimes had them on a pretty necklace type thing for glasses..then one day my best friend convinced me that I should have my eyes checked and when I left...my first pair of glasses were ordered.
IF I had it to do over...not sure I would have done it. I think glasses for distance really do weaken the eyes further. But when you have trouble reading road signs and miss calculate the distance of the car ahead of you, especially at night...maybe! :) *sigh* Now I sort of like them and don't even take them off for pictures anymore. Sooo..you know..:)Wsprsweetly Of Cottageshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17990765326246470929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6305853571849549221.post-87827595518930960542011-12-01T18:19:35.608-05:002011-12-01T18:19:35.608-05:00I found myself longing to see more of your home. ...I found myself longing to see more of your home. Those stairs are just beautiful! Our Bump lived to 16 and Scratches lived to be 19. Ed is doing fantastic. Only an animal that is loved so much would linger for so long. I am convienced of that. The two of them all cuddled up in the cat bed...HOW I miss my cats.

And my you have the very best Christmas Season ever too...
Love,
MonaWsprsweetly Of Cottageshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17990765326246470929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6305853571849549221.post-9322698196196461402011-12-01T16:34:23.063-05:002011-12-01T16:34:23.063-05:00I so love Ed! The picture of him with his lady love brings tears to my eyes. How little it takes to make him happy. And it does the heart good to know that he has the love and support of his family. Can you imagine how horrible it would have been had he not been given a chance! But you will always give that chance. Annie and her kitties, Ed, the sitee kitties you win over.
"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is within the power
of your hand to do so". Proverbs 3:27. It sounds like you have done many things to help him along, which I'm sure has tremendously helped his recovery.

With my senior cat who has very unsteady back legs, I have taken to putting sturdy objects near the places he struggles to jump onto, that way he can use them as stairs. My guess is you have already thought of this! The Cat Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17862401517530290759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6305853571849549221.post-9348086114180500132011-12-01T11:05:34.863-05:002011-12-01T11:05:34.863-05:00I had been wondering how Ed was doing.

Wayne got his a couple years ago (age 44) and I have had progressives since then as well. Oh yes...age...if only our bodies could stay as young as our minds.
