My day started out with an unexpected call from my veterinarian. Could I help out a client of hers who was being hospitalized but had 2 precious cats waiting for her at home. The woman needed someone to go to her home to feed & care for her cats until she was released from hospital. I drove to the hospital and met the patient, picked up a key and instructions from her and began the care of her two little felines. Driving to her home, I began to think about all the people who do not have family close by or friends who can help at a time like this. I knew this patient was very concerned for her kitties and until they were safely taken care of she was not able to be calm and get the rest she needed. It is times like this that I am so happy that I provide this service.

  2. Thanks Claudie. I just heard from her and after having had tests done at the Queensway Carleton Hospital the results were not good and she will not be home for 4 weeks so this will be a long session of care. They will do ok although I am sure they will miss her. I will post how things are going. Thanks for your comment. I wish I could be your caregiver too. Deb
