Some of you will remember when I featured WINTER in February who had been at our local shelter toooooo long. Just to let you know she has been adopted. I love that they never give up on these beautiful, healthy cats. "Happy life, Winter".
Audrey Hepburn’s feline co-star was Orangey, an orange tabby who made his film debut in 1951 in “Rhubarb.” Orangey went on to make appearances in films like “This Island Earth” and “The Incredible Shrinking Man.” Orangey is the only feline to win the “Patsy Award” twice, the animal world’s equivalent of the Oscar.
Here’s a link to the IMDB page on Orangey.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Hugs, Deb
I just tweeted and shared the 2 orange kitties on my Facebook page. So glad that Winter found a furever home!
ReplyDeleteAw, they are so cute!! I really love yellow cats!! I hope they find good homes soon! My husband has been volunteering at a local cat adoption place... he would bring them all home if he could. (Our city has restrictions though, so two is all we get.)
ReplyDeleteDear Deb, I'm on the way to tweet !
ReplyDeleteThey deserve a loving home

If I lived in Ontario, I'd be in big trouble. The one looks like Gyp, the other like the late Stimpy. I fear for some time Gyp will be an only cat, and I plan to savor every moment.
ReplyDeleteOh, M is drooling here. She would love an orange kitty.
