The house smells of pumpkin muffins, with a walnut on top, fresh out of the oven.
They go well with tea.
The softest, fluffiest most awesome blankies are all washed up and placed in proper places.
During hibernation time, small cardboard boxes just won't do.Although the bestest of the best is to have the fluffy, soft blankies inside the familiar, well-loved, chewed-up boxes.
Yes, that is the BEST.
Just in case you were wonderin', Sierra's new mail-man is a cat-lover through and through. He admitted to being owned by 2 at home. She's going to love this guy and I hope he is ready for all the kitty-kisses he's about to receive, on a little red bench, daily, albeit weather permitting.
Just to let you know...I am off for a few days visiting a friend. I miss her and haven't seen her now for over a year. I will be bringing something special back from Toronto to have a give-away next week. I promise it won't be a cat ;-b but I can't promise it won't be a pretty piece of china. Just Sayin'
If your weather is like ours (+19), get out there and kick some leaves around.
hugs, Deb
No way am I letting my cats see that blanket - they'll instantly want one each! Love the pics of the sleeping kitties, and as for that muffin - oh my...

Enjoy your time with your friend. So happy that Sierra has a wonderful new friend. Cassie, Teddy and Mina have taken over my Halloween lapghans. Guess I'll have to make some Christmas lapghans -- need to find a pattern! :D

ReplyDeleteOh where have you been all my life??? your blog is awesome!! two of my favorite things!!! cats and china!! I too, love both!! Anyway, I volunteer at my local animal shelter with the cats and yes, it is starting to be cuddle up time!! we are always making "snuggy" places for the cats to get warm and cozy!! Its my way of having 50 cats but not having to feed or pay for their vet bills, LOL!!
ReplyDeleteI have been lurking for a little while but wanted to let you know that I thoroughly enjoy your blog!! thank you!!
Jill from NY
It was 23C here today!!! Have a nice visit with your friend. Love your sleepy kitty pics.
ReplyDeleteI know, my Bailey wanted his heated bed when the colder weather came--love the cuddling season:-D
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog, and three of my favourite things - cats, tea, and blue and white china!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I grew up in Eastern Ontario (Iroquois, tiny town on the St. Lawrence), have lived in Toronto since 1970.
Anyway, love your blog and get misty looking at all those cat photos. I just lost my 2 beloved cats to old age - one last September and one just last month. I'll soon be heading for a cat shelter for a new (or old) one!I also love the idea of "cats in windows" photos.

The muffins look lovely & the fluffy beds oh so comfy !
ReplyDeletehow sweet and adorable. We want a blanket like that! We are getting misty too.. Well put (above comment). Love Helen, Darcy and Bingley xxx
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope you are enjoying some time with a friend! That's the BEST! I'm putting together a blog list for my sisters so that I can visit more often! Happy Fall!
ReplyDeleteHi Deb, When I see these muffins, I feel guilty that I rarely bake! One of the favorite places for out kitties to nap in, is a cardboard box full of paper... I don't get it. They have all sorts of cozy beds available, but that cardboard box ( which I would really like to toss) always has a cat in it.
ReplyDeleteLove love love those pretty kitties. So cute!
ReplyDeleteWinter could be nicely spent as a well loved indoor kitty rather than being a human ~ don't you think?
