A lazy Sunday

Our Annie this quiet morning.

Daisies help you through these drab days.

I have been out of commission for three days now with a pulled muscle in my back.
As debilitating as that is, I was at least able to sit in the office and get at some paper-work yesterday. Walking is the 'killer'.
Today it feels good enough for me to head out for awhile on this drab, snowy day.

I am always 'purging', because I am not a fan of  clutter (unless it is blue and white china),  but one thing I cannot dispose of are cards from my kids. I have saved every card ever given over the last 30 years. Some are hand-made, with sweet messages inside and all the ones from my son are hilarious. He has quite a dry wit.
3 kids over 30 years = lots of cards
They are kept in a wicker chest or as some call it "my treasure chest'.

We have had some milder weather the last few days and now I hear a cold front is heading our way.

Next week I  gets busy with cat-sitting right through to the end of February. I hope to have lots of kitty photos for you.

Note to self...always bend at the knee. :[

hugs,  Deb

  9. Deb, I hope you are feeling much better very soon! Ouch!!! I have problems like that and you have all of my sympathy!

Love the header with Lily and Kane's photos! Awesome!

Enjoy your Daisies! May they brighten you days till the sun shines again. I have a amaryllis flowering that is a pretty pink - it is over 30 years old. I love it when it blooms in the winter.

  14. Be sure to tale care of yourself. Don't let boredom get you doing things you're really not ready for.

The look in Peach's eyes really lets us know it IS her box. She means business!

  16. I'm sorry about your back! I can relate. I lifted some boxes of books the "wrong" way yesterday, and I've been paying for it.

I wouldn't mess with Annie over that box. :-)
