This little guy lives under our old pump.
So what do you do if you're a chippy enjoying a delicious buffet and David, the cat, walks by?
You hide where there is a good food supply, of course.
Simon Alvin & Theodore
If you are as old as, well, me, and remember the chipmunks you will recall that Simon was the smart one.
So, our latest little chip has now been named.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
(dreaming of a Simon burger)
hugs, Deb
I just love you...there is always a giggle and a beautiful photo....hugs! Sierra is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteGoodness! Me! The Chipmunks....!
ReplyDeleteThat goes back to 1958..! And, l still
watch the odd repeat on Sky TV..They
were brilliant! :).
And..You'd better tell Simon to tuck his
tail in...Otherwise David gonna see it....! :).
And Sierra...She's away with the fairies...or
maybe the chipmunks...! :>).
My youngest adored the chipmunks and had every one of the teddymunks. His favourite was always Alvin. Your chippy Simon is adorable. We had them here all last summer but haven't seen any this year. But I think I know why. The neighbourhood kitties are always around looking for a snack. An entertaining post, Deb! Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Oh please Deb, no, no, no 'Simon burgers' .
ReplyDeleteHow cute the way he gets into the feeder - they really are the prettiest rodents. Haven't seen our little guy for some time so hope he's OK - there are a lot of hawks around in our trees lately! It will soon be time for hibernation - perhaps he'll come by the feeder for his winter storage food!
Happy weekend Deb.

ReplyDeleteCute ! We had a Simon , Alvin and Theodore here to but it got confusing as we couldn't tell one from the other so they were all named Chippy lol ! Rain for us tonight and tomorrow temps are comfortable . Thanks for sharing , have a good weekend !
ReplyDeleteLook at that little mouth. Sierra is so sweet! You do pick the cutest names for the little critters living there. It's like reading a little storybook every day.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! Lucky he has a good place to hide! Thank you so much for stopping by, and for your kind comment on my fall home post!
