First off, "Happy 61st Birthday" to the busiest retired guy I know.
He did take time to enjoy his day. :)
Lots of love from all your family.
What made me smile lately?
Waking to cool breezes coming through open windows. And the days being warm and sunny.
A daily watering of the flowers.
Watching for the changing leaves around the mouse house.
My silly cats who always entertain me. Note to self...stop buying cat beds.

Getting bit by 'something' in the garden with a sense of humour.

Annie on the floor with the dog.
Having our turkey family drop by again this week.
They are cleaning up the spillage from the feeders.
Audrey's been watching for them all morning.
What brought a smile to your face lately?
hugs, Deb

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to the retired guy!
ReplyDeleteAnnie and Kane make quite a pair.
Audrey must know that those big turkeys are too big for her to take down.
I went to the dentist for an hour and preferred it to being at work. That made me smile...
ReplyDeleteOh, and happy birthday to the Retired Guy. He is indeed very busy. Is it momentum left over from a busy career?
ReplyDeleteWhat brought a smile to my face today was watching my daughter; sil; and grand daughter tucking into a lovely tea at Ponden Mill near Haworth in West Yorkshire. My dear friend had bought the tea as a Christmas present for us and it was lovely, salmon and cucumber sandwiches; scones with fresh cream and jam and a home made Victoria sandwich cake oh and lashings of tea. Just perfect. Then a tour around the Hall which is what Emily Bronte based Wuthering Heights on. Love xxx
ReplyDeleteHappy b-day, mr. retired guy =)
ReplyDeleteYour kitties makes me smile.
Happy Birthday, Retired Guy, and many happy returns of the day.
ReplyDeleteSeeing your Annie so satisfied and happy; that makes me smile!
Happy Birthday to the Retired Guy. Isn't it funny how we can't wait to retire so we can really get some work done. Audrey in her bed watching the turkeys made me smile today.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to your dear hubby - he is a busy guy, lucky you! It's when they don't do anything constructive they become a nuisance! Not that mine is, he stays busy thankfully, and we always wonder how we made time to actually 'go to work' LOL!
