I can't stop baking with pumpkin.
2 more loaves and a few little muffins.
"The 'ol bat's gone mad."
The cats....eeeeh!
Surely after these we'll be done with pumpkin.
The sun is shining and I have to get out and fill the feeders.
I had a surprise this morning when Mr. & Mrs. Cardinal paid us a visit.
They've been missed.
And the Juncos are showing up now.
Still, my heart belongs to the Chickadees.
hugs, Deb
It can't hurt to bake a couple of pumpkin pies for Christmas. Or three or four or five....
ReplyDeleteI think I could never get sick of pumpkin, Deb. I really love it; especially the pie! I do love those birdies too. I saw a junco the other day and they haven't been around since last winter. He was so cute. The chickadees are so entertaining, aren't they? And so are you; love your sense of humour. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteAutumn blessings,
Sandi
The chickadees have my heart also!

ReplyDeletelove them too -- so good for you. Lovely to visit again after time out from the blogging world, Love Helen, Darcy, Bingley & Fred xxxx
ReplyDeleteDeb, I use fresh pumpkin in my custard pie at Halloween, but outside of that, haven't used pumpkin much in baking. Did have a recipe for wonderful pumpkin soup once... and think I might have tried pumpkin ravioli once...? But your muffins and breads look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAudrey makes me laugh. Audrey, you should be ashamed. :) Deb, Your baking always looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteSad to say we are not pumpkin people lol But your baking there does look good ! Yup the juncos have returned here to . love that last photo of the chickadee ! It is a rainy dull day here today but the Robins and other birds have kept us entertained at the feeders as they always do lol ! Thanks for sharing , have a good day !
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty pictures! Do you make homemade doggie treats? I do and they love them! But they have to stay refrigerated
ReplyDeleteThat's funny that you should ask, BeachGypsy. I owned a home-made dog biscuit company for eight years and sold it in 2010. I have dozens of dog biscuit recipes but our Kane prefers a bit of muffin. lol
ReplyDeleteMy, you have been a busy baker, Deb. Your hutch is gorgeous. Love it! Audry is a crack up. What a face!
ReplyDeleteI agree...pumpkin is addictive! Just finished off a batch of pumpkin spice cookies, and thinking of muffins today. Your loaves look yummy! I LOVE your dresser!
