A window of birds to be entertained by when the lure of the comfy bed is ignored.
A feast is laid out twice daily and warmed to satisfaction.
An evening massage and cuddle-time a daily ritual.
It's a dream life for most cats. From rags to riches.
Oh, yes... and a loving cat-sitter that spoils her even more.

I love a fairy tale with a happy ending!
ReplyDeleteI wish this life for every kitty on earth.

We've rescued nearly 50 cats over the years, and have tried to give this kind of life to all of them. Every one of them has repaid us with such a special brand of love... sometimes it just overwhelms me. Sigh... I adore cats!
ReplyDeleteA happy story, and agreeing with the comments that this should be the life for all cats (and dogs too)
ReplyDeleteI am definitely coming back as a cat. :)
ReplyDeleteSweet, we can tell by her body language that Ebony loves you. What a good life she now has.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.

What a sweet, pampered kitty ♥
ReplyDeleteYes, a dream life......and it feels good to provide it for the cats that cross our path. I just wish more people felt that way.
ReplyDeleteIf you are not gong to 'spoil' a cat,why have one?

Deb, I love reading about your cats. We have 6 inside cats at the moment and every one of them were abandoned at some point... most when they were tiny kittens, but Rose was probably about 7 when she came to us. She had her 2 front canines broken and the Vet said it looked like someone had kicked her in the mouth. She's about 19 now and living as much a 'dream life' as we can give her. I wish we could do it for all the outside strays... but the house is only so big. We do provide them (neighborhood strays) with a sanctuary (6 ft fence) food, and toys... (and the ones that allow us to catch them are vaccinated and spayed). Our philosophy is that we can't save them all, but we do what we can.
ReplyDeleteThey do deserve to be spoiled! And, if I lived alone, I would have a houseful to keep me company...I guess that sounds like I'm the crazy cat lady, lol!!
ReplyDeleteIt's so wonderful to meet happy rescued kitties!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love it when its a lovely ending to the story. Ebony is just beautiful.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteAnd no doubt she loves her Cat-sitter!!!
ReplyDeleteSo many black cats are overlooked a shelters and their happy endings end there. For most, the shelter is a far hapier ending than what would have happened to them on the streets. I think black cats are positively gorgeous; beautiful house panthers full of grace and elegance. Ebony deserves every ounce of her pampered life. God bless her.
ReplyDeleteEbony is a beauty, and obviously she is cherished!
ReplyDeleteSuch a much loved kitty!! Love to spoil the furry creatures!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giggles!!! She's a lucky cat!!! We rescued both our cats and our dog...they've got the Life of Riley too!!!
