Let's eat cake!

We celebrated Father's Day and my bday today with family. It was pouring all day so having the back yard dinner went out the window (or would that be in the window?) but we have a great time no matter where we celebrate. Dinner was delicious (thanks Brittany & Allie). 
It was a great time and we all ate far too much.  The dads were celebrated.

and one for her daddy. This is son, John with a freshly bathed little Bradley.
Then I made a wish, blew out the candles (thank goodness there weren't the appropriate number of candles) and we dug in. :)

Birthday cake does make getting older worth it.
Especially a made-from-scratch cake lovingly baked by your daughter. Thanks, Jess.
There's Brad again. He is now pulling himself up and I expect he'll be walking in no time.

It's been a great weekend. I'll be filling up the cat bag in the morning and heading out to cat-sit. Lots of new kitties to show you soon.
