LOVEly assistant

I think I am the slowest knitter on this planet.
It doesn't help, though, to have a knitting buddy that is so cute and soft.

I'm still working away with red wool. I'll be happy to move on to another colour soon.
It's a little gift for my first grandittle, Riley for Valentines Day. A bed-cover and pillow for her dolly bed.

I am so lucky to have such handsome company in my day. And he is such a help!

WE sat and knit for two hours yesterday.

I do believe he is becoming quite bored with his cat-sitter, though.

I guess it's time to play cat and mouse for awhile.

THIS is why it is taking me forever to finish one project. =^..^=

hugs, Deb

  2. He is very handsome. Love his coloring.
I sit in the mornings with a cat near or on my lap.
My dogs go in and out.
That's when I spend time on the puter.
Catching up on blogs and the world.

  5. You'd have accomplished nothing with Jenna around that yarn!

  6. Your knitting companion is very handsome. I have lots of help when the yarn comes out. They look, watch, get bored and lay down right next to me so that I can't move the needles. !!!

  8. You certainly do have some darn good looking clients!
Your knitting looks good....what are you talking about?
But...you better get crackin'.....tomorrow's your deadline!
    Enjoy your evening.....
    Cheers!

  9. So cute! I would think they might grab the yarn and run! It's what Charlie does with ribbon when I'm trying to wrap a present!

  10. I know what you mean with regard to trying to knit with an 'assistant' near by. My foster-cat, Cammie, has discovered my lap, especially while I am trying to write. It's tough trying to write with one hand and rub a cat's head with the other. It's like one of those co-ordination exercises.

  11. I don't believe I'd get much knitting done with such a beauty in my lap either. I actually don't get as much as I could done because I have TWO of them wanting my attention. :-) I open the door to the bird feeders so they'll be content for a few hours while I get some work done. But I love having them nearby just as they love being nearby.

  12. Cutie cat! I have to hide my wooden needles all the time, because the cats loves to chew on them. One bite and that's it for the needle!
