My old black cat hates Halloween. She shakes and quakes and cries. She should be good on Halloween, but much to my surprise, she stays in bed and hides her head. Now why does she do that? ‘Meow,’ she says, ‘Meow,’ she says, I'm just a scaredy cat...!
Have a fang-tastic night. Eat, drink and be scary! Only spook when spooken to and remember, demons are a ghoul's best friend. Oh, and if the broom fits, fly it.
Wonderful photo! It is a perfect fall day here in Virginia. Temperature in the upper 60s with fat, fluffy gold leaves falling and swirling around. Great night for the trick-or-treaters. I made your pumpkin bread (Deb's pumpkin muffins in my cookbook) last week and just had to tell you again this is my favorite recipe for muffins. For some reason which I have yet to figure out, I tried a different recipe a few weeks ago. What a disappointment so I couldn't wait to make your recipe again. Not only do they taste fantastic but the consistency of the batter is perfect for filling muffin liners without dripping the batter all over the pan. These muffins freeze beautifully and I usually get three dozen muffins from the recipe. That's taking into account the batter that I consume during the process. Thank you again for sharing. Happy Halloween!
With her pumpkin face on, I am sure Audrey will be getting lots of treats ...
