Christmas is such a fun time to visit some of our little towns in the area. I mentioned in one of my recent posts that we visited Merrickville to do a bit of Christmas shopping.
Animals of all sorts were out and about taking in the Christmas festivities.
Let the decorating begin. "Please...Audrey." :-{

It was alive with glitter and excitement.
Beautiful shops everywhere.
But no snow today.

We went for a walk on family land today and found this little guy.
He'll do just fine for the mouse-house.

How wonderful that you can cut a tree down from your own land! It's a sweet little pine. I can't wait to see it all decorated in the mouse house (with Audrey peeking out). -Jenn
ReplyDeleteWell, if the weather moves like usual, you'll be seeing the snow we are getting right this very moment in a day or two! Personally, I could wait a few weeks longer before it goes all white!
ReplyDeleteI love your town. It's such a charming place -- the perfect Christmas town, like a Hallmark movie!
Deb, I have to tell you that I found a wreath exactly like the one you have on your hutch and, since I fell in love with it on your blog post the other day, I sent for it. Can't wait for it to arrive!
ReplyDeleteEnvy your trips to Merrickville.........someday, maybe.
We have more snow here in Nebr. than you do up there in Canada! And more on the way, we hear.
I miss our kitties more at Christmas time than any other time of the year so it's great to get a peek at your Annie and A.A. every so often. Thanks for that! Love from Nebraska ><>
