Happy New Year 2021

Before this week gets away on me I want to wish everyone a Very Happy New Year.

This year will be one like no other as we recuperate from such a dreadful 2020.

Here are a few photos from this Christmas at Fox Grove. We only saw a third of our family on Christmas day and missed the others so much but we made the best of it.

As usual, Santa was good to all of us. :-)

I have enjoyed reading your blogs throughout this difficult year. And instagram has been such fun to follow along as the decorating for Christmas went on.

I hope this year brings us all much comfort and peace.

Our grands came out to run laps around the property. They always have so much fun together.
My most fun project of 2020...my garden shed. :-)
in the woodlot

Flo's house. (she's in her winter den now) I keep an insulated box inside the OH just in case it's needed by some small critter.

We look forward to spring to finish our wrap-around porch. It's been a loooooong project.

Thanks for dropping by.

"Happy New Year"

God bless,

Deb, the retired guy, Wilson and Cora. And Ernie & Flo say hi from their winter dens.

xoxo

  3. Oh my goodness! Your pictures are wonderful. I love Wilson by the woodstove, and all those cute grandchildren in the snow. They are growing like crazy. That is one perfect garden shed! oh I know you must be looking forward to spring again, but doesn't it look pretty in the snow, with the Christmas lights. Fox Grove sure is beautiful this time of the year. It's good to see little Cora. Hope her skin problems are better. I think maybe I recognize the kitty with the teacup and spoon. :) So glad to see your post. You and your posts were certainly a bright spot in 2020. Thank you!

  4. It's ALL looking lovely and festive Deb..
And the snow sets it off a treat..
Looks as though you had a lovely Christmas
    to..! :).

The garden shed looks amazing..looks to good
    to be a shed..
But The wooden one below, as l've said before,
reminds me of my Grannies toilet at the bottom
of the garden, where you had to sing/whistle,
because there was no lock on the door! :o).

And..Yes! A very Happy New Year to one and ALL..!
May this year, be the turning point, for us ALL..!

  5. Happy New Year to you, Deb! What a lot of nice things you got. And how great that you think of the little cold animals and give them a place to rest for awhile. Thanks for all your many visits to my blog. Hope all is good with you and your family.

  7. Happy New Year!
We didn't visit any family or friends over the holidays; it's just too risky with the rates of infection. It's The Hubby and me, and four cats...and the internet and books.

  8. The house looks fabulous and I love your shed! How fun is that. You were lucky to see a few -- we're delaying Christmas with the kids for a while. Better to have more Christmases than force this one. I loved all the photos of the cats, the property. Looks cold -- and lovely! Happy New Year!

  10. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU & ALL YOURS TOO!
    hopefully 2021 can't be any worse? it certainly was a strained year for most; us here in Australia faired a bit better than most countries; all i can advise is be sure to stock your pantries up, there are plenty of blogs with the knowledge of stockpiling;
the kitties are looking good as are all the grandies enjoying the snow bbbrrr
am amazed at how different the snows make everything look
can't wait to see your 'wrap around' veranda, the house is looking great so far
    thanx for sharing

  11. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY DEAR DEB.
Enjoyed these photos - hope to see more later when spring arrives to your northern reaches. Still no snow here but may get a dusting tomorrow.
Stay well and safe - enjoy each day in small ways.
We have a chipmunk again - a new one perhaps - he ran across the deck at Christmastime which was such fun.

    Hugs - Mary x
