Dear Deb - hope your Christmas, now in full swing - is full of merry and bright moments with your dear family. Love your collection of cottages - so pretty, and I'm thinking you probably have real snow outside your windows? Far too hot here and quite windy so not exactly seasonal weather for the holidays. Sending you best wishes for the coming year and hoping it will be a better one for the world! Warm hugs - Mary & Bob in NC
Deb, I can't believe I missed your beautiful Christmas post on December 10th, and this one, until now. That adorable little Cora under the Christmas tree is just precious. Isn't she pretty! That should be a Christmas card. Thank you for the most beautiful card!
The picture of the hunter in the snow reminded me of some pictures we saw on Dan's game camera. There in the middle of the night was Smokey stretched out on the ground watching a fox that was just a few feet from him. Guess a fox won't hurt a cat?? Smokey insists on going outside every night at bedtime. Worries me to death, but Poppy always reminds me, Smokey is an outside cat. He does stay in when it's cold or wet, but I need him in all the time.
Hope you all had a fun Christmas. I sure miss the grandchildren being young enough to be here on Christmas. We had just Andee and Todd. Had a big turkey dinner, then went on a long walk with the dogs. It was a nice day.
Take care. The new year will be here before we know it, so I will wish you all a Happy New Year. Love, Henny
I hope you had holidays full of love and calmness :) In my country we don't have a tradition to leave milk and cookies for Santa, but it's interesting :) Maybe next year we can try this too :) Happy New Year! :)
Merry Christmas!
