The little yellow VW cookie-jar is filled with raw nuts. This was a gift from my friend who passed away from cancer only 6 weeks ago. I told her years back that I always wanted a little VW to rod around in but had yet to buy one. She remembered and when she spotted this cookie jar she knew I had to have it. I will only keep 'healthy' cookies in there when I have time to bake some.
What a cute cookie jar! Was this given by the same friend who presented you with the beautiful tea pot a few posts back? How hard it is to lose a good friend, especially as we get older. Someone we thought would always be there. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
ReplyDeleteI've really enjoyed getting caught up on your older posts, since discovering you a few weeks ago. So humorous and full of love for animals and thoughtful all at the same time. It always gives me a good feeling to stop by for a visit!
