Chugai China
I love the turquoise on it.
I'm having coffee in it to accompany a home-made bran muffin.
Yes, that's allowed.
The Canada Geese are on their way home now and they have a very devoted audience.
I'm linking up with http://bernideensteatimeblog.blogspot.com/ for Friends sharing tea and http://missspensersblog.blogspot.com/ for Tea-cup Thursday.
hugs, Deb
That is a Lovely and unique cup and even more special..it was your Mom's! I "break the rules" and use a pretty teacup occasionally for coffee too:D!! Rosie is "hunting" the robins here via the window and back door LOL! Have a great Thursday!
ReplyDeleteI love the colours and designs of Japanese china....so rich looking.

Hi Deb,
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely teacup! There is something very elegant and classy about black. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely day.
Blessings,
Sandi
Oh Deb I think this is one of the prettiest teacups I've seen. The black is so unusual and makes the colors pop! Love the kitties watching the geese return. Fun cat tv! Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cup! So nice that it was your Mother's ... memories! Audrey and Annie are so much fun ... for all of us! Cassie and Teddy are pretty devoted to watching the arrival of the birds at the morning buffet in the garden! I think some of the doves walk right up to doors just because the kitties are sitting and watching!
ReplyDeleteI have seen this type of cup and saucer in Antique store but don't happen to own one. They are really beautiful! Thanks for joining in Friends Sharing Tea!
ReplyDeleteTea in a beautiful china cup and a muffin, life is good.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet you! I am a cat person too...come by to meet my Tinker! Lovely teacup. I always think the black ones are so dramatic. Happy TT!

I love the chugai cup and saucer, colours on black is my favourite colour combination.
ReplyDeleteWe have a pair of starlings nesting in the eaves and all of the cats are now favouring the window sill with all faces pointing upwards. lol
