From your amber eyes
No inconstant story
Of her love should rise.
And yet "He loves me not!"
is oft the sad surprise.
Happy, happy daisies
Would I were like you
Pure from human praises
Fresh with morning dew
And ever in my heart to heaven's clear sunshine true.
Sometimes we all need some yellow in our life.
If looks could kill...
Oh, now the mood changes. There's that moth again.
Audrey
Just in case this is a 'pet peeve' of yours, the tablecloth is heading for the laundry. ;-)

Lovely tea cups! Great shot of the cat through the handle!
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't bother me, but I can't help but wonder how you keep your tea cups from getting broken. In this house I have as many breakables as possible behind closed doors. The first time I leave something out...CRASH!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection of cups you have Deb!
ReplyDeleteHappy evening!

Audrey is looking sooo cute in the last picture <3
ReplyDeleteWe have long given up keeping cats off the table at the studio....you just have to wipe off the area where you are going to eat each and every time.
ReplyDeleteI love the hole through the wall over the door....your house must be old like the studio, I am assuming it is for the stove pipe that went through there.
Our house is over 100 years old. Getting close to 120 by now.
DeleteYou're right...it's for the stove pipe and there are a few more here and there.
That yellow ribbon looks super fun to play with!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy photos like this with a theme...yellow such a bright and happy color. Unless of course you are Audrey with a ribbon on your head. She is so cute. I hear that Mr Toes had an 'accident' and broke something... :( Still it's my fault for leaving some things out. I am so use to Charlie who does not break anything and walks carefully around my breakables. Toesie is still a and moves in a hurry! Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteI'd be in real trouble if it bothered me..family dining includes a couple of furry members,at least.

Is that Audrey getting cuter or is it just me?! What a wonder!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I loved yesterday's kitty in the lace curtain! Sweet!

Thanks for brightening my day with these beautiful yellow tea cups. Yellow is one of my favorite colors. And of course I never get tired of seeing beautiful Audrey in all her moods.

I love Audrey!! Hey, I saw a young black cat behind our barn yesterday. Sophie scared him off but I'm keeping an eye out for him/her!!!
ReplyDeleteAudrey is such a beauty. Your mellow yellow teacups are a delight, especially the yellow cup with the pink rose.
ReplyDeleteFamily dining at my house always includes cats too!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I'd make it through caring for mum ,who has end stage Alzheimer's, without them.
All of the yellow cups together look so amazing. Your photos of them are positively gorgeous.
Note to Audrey: Yellow is your colour, beautiful girl.
I really enjoyed this post Deb. The pictures are so beautiful and I have learned some things from you as to the interesting shots you take in order to show off the patterns so beautifully. I am going to try my hand at this and show everyone some of my Grandmothers beautiful tea cups.....what a wonderful thing to share. Thank you ever so much. Kiss the kitties!!
ReplyDeleteLovely images and words ! Gail x
