A little break

I need a little break this weekend and will be away from the computer. Some have asked how the retired-guy is and he is still suffering with his back but thankfully on the mend. Our dear old Kane needs my time, though, as his days are getting harder. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you, everyone.

    Have a nice break Deb. Hope the retired-guy gets completely well over the weekend, and you enjoy every minute with sweet Kane. It is full time caring for an older dog. You take care.

    Poor dear Kane, aging sadly arrives quickly for the animals. Thankfully Kane has you to care for him. Take time to share with him - and I hope the retired-guy is up and about again soon. Tell him to take it easy when he's back to lifting and moving things!

    Dear Deb, I think it's a good idea to have a break out of computer. My mom always does too much on it. And now ophthalmologist told she has EXTREMELY dry eyes !

    Poor Kane. It's so hard for aging dogs who still want to do the things they did when they were young and can't. I always think I see a look of longing on their faces for the dog they used to be. Take care.

    My best wishes to Kane. Winter can be especially hard on old fellows. he's probably much older in dog-years than the retired-guy is in human years, though I hope he is feeling better, too. I think it is always easier in a way for humans because we know what is causing the aches and pains.

    Who knows? Maybe Kane is more accepting of age than we would be. Good luck to him, regardless, and good health.
