The tomatoes and cucumbers are coming along, too. Today I potted up leafy lettuce and added three pots of oregano to my herb shelf.
I'm also growing sunflowers for the birdies.
I've been showing off cats that I cared for through my cat-sitting service that I provided for the area that we have recently moved from.
So
Let's look back a bit...
Meet Toot...Toot....Tootsie
Tootsie is a maniac with her fabric wand but her favorite thing to do is hunt 'in her head' the birds that feed just outside her sun-room window.
The last time I cared for her and Marvin was only days before I had to pass over my cat-sitting business to a wonderful lady in the area. One of the saddest days of my life.
I'll always miss them and hope they are enjoying their time with their new cat-sitter.
hugs, Deb
just catching up (i read to many blogs & have to break them up over the week) i missed your birthday! many happy returns for the day & glad you had a wonderful time, loved the kitty tea cup! will look gorgeous with begonias in it.
ReplyDeleteyour past cats are so adorable & am enjoying your walk down memory lane with them all.
hope you are all keeping well
thanx for sharing
HeHe! I was just thinking...
ReplyDeleteI do hope that's 'not' Simone's
buddy....but, a lady friend! :).
And, it looks as if he's 'nuts'
about her...Lovely!x
Your seedlings are doing great, Deb!! I just started my zucchini over the weekend - no sprouts yet, although I haven't checked yet this morning. Good to see Simon again!!
ReplyDeleteYour veggies are looking good -- I see a lot of zucchini bread in your future!
ReplyDeleteYour little seedlings look so healthy. Yours put my little seedlings to shame. Wish I had bought a better seed starter mix instead of the cheapest potting soil. :(
ReplyDeleteLittle chippies are so cute! Tootsie is adorable.
ReplyDeleteIf humans could carry in their cheeks what chipmunks manage, we wouldn't need luggage. Though it may look suspicious to airport security.
ReplyDeleteIt's odd how we grow attached to pets who aren't even ours - though they become a little bit ours over time, so I suppose it isn't strange at all.
Tootsie is a cutie. The outdoor critters are quite used to you.
ReplyDeleteYour recipe for Pumpkin Bread/Muffins is wonderful!!! I finally made it today for the first time and it is a recipe that is definitely a keeper. I've already made a note on something I want to change to make it more to my taste. I used a cup of walnuts and then added some dried cranberries and coconut that was on hand and needed to be used. I ended up with three dozen muffins. Some are stashed in the freezer as I think they will freeze well. Thank you so much for sharing! Your photos are all so beautiful, happy and colorful. Love seeing the photos the cats you have cared for in past years. You have enough cat photos to compile an excellent cat book. Your blog is one of my favorite and though I seldom comment, I check it each day. Happy spring!
ReplyDeleteShirley, I'm so glad you enjoyed them. Adding extra goodies to the muffins would only make them more scrumpdillyishus. :)
DeleteA gal and her critters ♥️
ReplyDeleteGotta love it!
Have a great weekend...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
