I'm so thrilled.
"And it don't take much."
Look what's happening
at the mouse-house.
I have a new home shopper.
She seemed to love the front porch.
Then she popped in for a look-see.
She sung her head off
as she checked out every inch.
Then she stood on the roof
calling to her mate that sat in the Sumac tree.
I think I heard her say
"We're moving in here whether you like it or not."
Just.like.that.
He seemed to like the blue house better.
Hope she's my new tenant.
update...she just flew in with some twigs.
I guess she found her home. :)
hugs, Deb
Pleasant news. Just what I needed today . Thank you. Gail
ReplyDeleteHello, the House Wrens do love to sing. They make their presence known, lol. I hope you have a new tenant. Have a happy day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteFABulous!
ReplyDeleteMOL she like a clock !
ReplyDeleteThat is so exciting! I love it when birds move in!!
ReplyDeleteYippee!!! A new family!
ReplyDeleteThrilled that your birdhouse has new tenants!
ReplyDeleteIf she was flying around near me, Mama House Wren would no doubt pick up the gobs of fur that I've brushed from Patty O'Malley and Sweetie this weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt seems the bird approves!
ReplyDeleteAudrey seems eternally skeptical.
So happy you have a new tenant for one of your lovely houses. I have yet to see or hear our wrens this year. Really missing them, they are some of my favourites.
ReplyDeleteI'll have one Audrey In a Basket, please! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSweeet! Can't wait to hear about a family starting!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Lily
