A cat-sittin' I will go........

Nana & Riley at her first Santa Parade in Carleton Place, Ont. I think this is my 20th.

I am really enjoying the busy times right now. If I'm not decorating, shopping, DIY'ing, looking at recipes or spending time with my new grand-daughter I am cat-sitting. I just returned from looking after these three as their owners are away SHOPPING.
  Meet Buddy.
Buddy is a big handsome boy that meows like a girl.
Meet Molly

Molly is a DIVA - and she told me to be sure you know that.

And Darling Smudge
She's peeking around the corner to watch me get her breakfast
She's a pretty calico
I'm home for a bit to work on some stockings for Christmas. Here is another of my Santas.

Hope you are enjoying your day and here's a cat-tip for the day. Be sure to put all your Christmas gifts away and not in sight of your cats. The bags carry many scents from the stores and the handlers and your cat just may decide to cover that scent to make these bags more cat-friendly. I'm just warning you!

Have a wonderful day
Hugs, Deb

  1. That Riley is such a doll! I love this time of year. So much fun. Charlie smells everything that comes into this house, but has never re-scented them.

  2. Thanks for the tip! I love all the gorgeous cats here...and look how big Riley is getting! ;D

  3. Cute grandkid and cute kitties! Hey, my Clyde we found in the dumpster 11 years ago is a Maine Coon cat. Have you ever had one of those? Since we lost Bonnie last spring, I've thought of trying to find another Maine Coon cat sometime. Love this breed, though it was new to me. Just consider you the cat expert!

  4. Cats and a Grandchild! A perfect post.

  5. Ahhhhhh, beautiful granddaughter and the 3 cats are adorable...... however, I've never seen an ugly baby, cat or puppy....they're all gifts from heaven.

  6. Oooo, thanks for the great cat tip!

  7. Purrrfect! Grand-daughter and lovely kitties will keep you on the toes all the time : )

  8. Riley looks to be thoroughly enjoying parade one and you look like it is your first all over again with her in tow!! That Smudge could be my Rosie as they have very similar markings, all 3 are quite the beauties and the DIVA is duly noted lol!! You are busy gal but it all sounds FUN!!!
