I said "Good-bye" to our Ginny tonight. She closed her eyes and now she's gone. Letting her go has broken my heart.
"Thank you sweet girl for being a part of my life. Your personality was that of a loving, playful, curious little soul. I will always smile when I think of how you found us at the age of 10 and lived in our bathroom cupboard for 3 months 'til you gained the courage to join the family. We lined it with blankets and left the door open. When that day came that you joined us in the kitchen, it was a celebration and you brought so much joy to me. You had a long life and I hope that you were happy. I loved you very much, Ginny and now I will miss you everyday. Who will sit on my lap while I blog, now? Gin, you introduced to me the magnificence of the Siamese/Burmese cat, the beauty and the soulful spirit. Thank you. I will treasure this always.
Farewell, sweet girl. I love you."
hugs, Deb

ReplyDeleteI had a Siamese when I was growing up and he was the smartest and funniest kitty. He hated any boy that came to my house to take me on a date and quickly let them know they were not welcome.
Deb, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful, sweet Ginny. She had the best life she could have had from the time she was living with you. You brightened her every day, as she did yours. I know you'll miss her dearly.
