I had a long talk with him and he promised he wouldn't hunt birds or squirrels or chippies. He says he'll just nab the bugs. Mind you, he's a sweet 'ol guy and is bound to tell you just what you want to hear.
I make sure he is really full before he is off on his next adventure.
When he hears me arrive he comes zooming down the path to greet me and then falls over on the ground.
That's Max and he's won me over.
Thank you to all my blogging friends who left such nice messages regarding Ginny's passing. You are all so sweet and I appreciate that you took the time to leave me such kind words. Ginny had a good life and she made my life better and it was with a peaceful but broken heart that I said good-bye to her. I stayed with her and with my vet's calm & caring hand she had a peaceful transition. On Sunday, we will take her to our property and she will be laid to rest there next to Maggie.
Someday soon I will plant a garden there.
hugs, Deb
A home without a cat- and a well-fed, well-petted and properly revered cat- may be a perfect home. I love cats because I love my home and after a while they become its visible soul.

Max is very cool! He reminds me of my Mom's cat Sam who is also indoor/outdoor but comes in at night. I always enjoy seeing him when I visit my Mom. I'm glad Ginny will be laid to rest next to Maggie. A garden will be wonderful when you get it done. hugs to you Deb.
