Then we bought soup; Campbell's soup. Cans were stocked away in the pantry for those recipes that call for their famous mushroom soup and the box was strewn on the table. The bed that once held a tubby tabby is empty now and I don't hear the soft little snores and purrs coming from the living-room. The kitchen holds the snoring cat and I expect I will never be able to throw this out.
Old habits die hard
...off to see what's new with the homeless Siamese kitty. Fingers crossed...

Deb,
ReplyDeleteI so know what you mean! Whenever we get a box in the house, we go to throw it away, but then there will be a cat in it, so it has to stay for awhile!
I love it when kitties sleep face down. It reminds me of Garfield. Cute!

Deb, you make me wish I could have a cat. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are so cute! .. the head bowed while sleeping - cats are really good at being opportunists!

They do love those boxes, no matter the size, don't they!

I also have to wait a bit before throwing away a box if Charlie has taken a shine to it. He will move on to a new one eventually and I throw one out...well it goes in the re-cycling bin. It's been rainy here today but not cool.
ReplyDeleteAww !!! This is so cute, But I couldn't believe the cat can do snoring in that box ..tee..hee

What an adorable position! Just look at how much enjoyment a simple box can bring. There is a lesson to be learned here ( taught to us by a very precious teacher).
