I really tried not to cry but I blew it.
This will be the longest 2 1/2 months of my life but I know it will go by quickly for these two wonderful girls. I could just imagine how excited they were.
I'm glad I have a few distractions for the next little while.
Like these 3....
Right now they are walking but still very wobbly. Their bodies are out of proportion to their eventual adult state. Their tails are very short and stick-like and their heads are large for their bodies. This will change in a week or so. They are playing with each other and 'attacking' when unexpected. Their teeth are coming in now (poor mom). They love to play with mom and she loves it too. They are now sleeping for the night.
So, that was my day. I am tired and fidgety and anxious to hear that my daughter landed safely at their destination. My kids are the most precious people in my life and I want them to experience all that they wish to so, although this is not easy for any mom, I am excited for her. We will be keeping in touch daily and I will be posting a bit here and there. I'll be doing some praying, too.
hugs, Deb
Your daughter is going to have an amazing adventure =) She is blessed to have you as a Mom.
ReplyDeleteThose little kittens look like live wires =)
Oh, that's what mom's do - they cry for their daughters - happy tears and sad tears - I did some of that today, myself! Bless your nerves over the next 2 1/2 months, my dear! Glad you have those sweet babies to keep you occupied! Love 'em!
ReplyDeleteJoy!
Kathy
wishing her safe travels, wonderful stories and easy sleeps for you! ((((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteDeb it is so hard to let them go so far away and yet what a wonderful experience. I agree my children are the most important people in my life!
ReplyDeleteThe kitties are just getting cuter every day.
hugs, Linda
Oh Deb, it's a mother's job to worry no matter how old your kids get. What a great experience they will have.
ReplyDeletewe mums never stop worrying but I can only imagine what a wonderful adventure your daughter and friends will have. Just think of all the photographs and all the stories she will tell you and the time will fly past. Those kittens are just adorable and look at the expression in that first one. Precious.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteGoodness! Not the UK, France or Sweden now is it. Allie will have the adventure of a lifetime and you will have a few more gray hairs. And go ahead and cry: you earned that right when you gave birth.
ReplyDeleteAnnie and her kitties and you and your kiddies. Sweet, loving Annie will give you her comfort and strength during your anxious times. Two mums you are. Too bad you can't share tea.
They will have the time of their lives! I'd love to go to Ecuador. GLad you have the little furry cuties to distract you a bit. :)
