Campbell's soup for 2

My son, with the broken hand, was back to the doctor today and his hand was re-xrayed. Results show that he will not need surgery so we are very pleased and relieved about that. Let the healing continue.

I was back to the vet today regarding Kane's allergies. They have suggested another kind of anti-histamine so we'll see if it helps. Benadryl is not working for this guy. He is still chewing on his feet and legs and can't relax. We are going CRAZY, he is going CRAZY, and we all need to get more sleep. Wish us luck.

What type of bed is the most comfy for a cat? I would expect to find one that the cat can stretch out in, with high sides, a comfy blanket or two in the center and preferably up high on a safe platform would work best for most cats. Well....except for mine.

I walked into the kitchen last night and was once again presented with a kitty photo opportunity.
Now 2 of my expensive cat beds are sitting empty by the wood-stove. I will never buy another one again. "Here's to Campbell's soup"


I hope Lily doesn't see this.

    This, of course, is priceless and sooooo typical! Ms Stella will seek out paper just to lay on it. Even if it's one sheet or even an xtra large post it note. I think paper must be the best insulator for them, not to hot; not too cool.

    Deb thank you! This photo made me laugh out loud and I needed that today. I love how cats especially love a box and for the two of them to curl up in that cracks me up. So glad your son does not need surgery!!

    That photo is "Mmmm, Mmmmm, GOOD!!!" Seriously, it is ADORABLE! Now it is time to manufacture cardboard box cat beds, (someone MUST have already done this!)

    So glad your son doesn't have to have surgery and I hope that Kane's allergies go away or are at least relieved soon.

    Cats prefer the simple things in life, though they may appear to be extremely complex creatures! A box, or a piece of string, are a million times better than any store bought toy. :)
