a little birthday celebration with curly-top

Sunday was a fun day with celebrating a family birthday and having Riley to spoil for hours.

She is really growing up fast and her head of curls stop people in their tracks. This hair is identical to what her dad had at this age.

Two families are interested in the Siamese kitty. I will have news tomorrow.  I was by to see him tonight and he looks well and was lying out on his lawn with some of the neighbour cats. He looks like he feels right at home there but we all know he needs a permanent indoor home.

My son goes back to the dr. on Wednesday to re-xray his broken hand.
If it is healing well we are on the road to recovery. If not, he will be scheduled for surgery. Please keep John in your prayers. He's right-handed so you can just imagine how difficult it is to get through his days at work.

hugs, Deb

  1. Deb I will keep your son in my prayers. I know how awful those broken bones are. Blake is finally off crutches and doing so much better with his broken ankle healing after his surgery. That Riley is a doll and growing so fast! Such a cutie with all those curls! Glad to hear the Siamese is doing well. Have a great week. Hugs, Linda

  2. Little Riley is a real cutie! What a lovely family you have :)

  3. Riley gets cuter every day! I'm sending a prayer for your son's hand. I'd be LOST without my dominant one, the other side is practically useless...

  4. Oh those curls ~ adorable!

  5. Honestly, Riley looks more like you and your hubby than your kids do! What a cutie! Your son is in our prayers. I guess at this time the question is which treatment modality will produce the best outcome in the long term. He is way to young to sacrifice the long term for a quick but unsure fix. With the weather changing, that beautiful Siamese is forever on my mind. What can we, your readers do to help him? If you can think of anything, don't hesitate to ask.
