It is cold, damp & wet outside. The wood-stove will draw them over like a magnet. It will be a game of musical chairs now; minus the chairs and insert boxes.
One of my Favorite Things around the house is my little french cupboard. With Christmas fast approaching, I am playing with it again and planning some festive looks. It's a wee bit early so today I cleaned it up and placed a few of my little trees inside to start decorating. I will show you the finished look closer to Christmas.
I have had so much fun with this one thrifty find. I change it for the seasons and sometimes just along with my moods. It's like a little hutch to me but I am presently searching out a big hutch at all our local antique shops.

Love it! That's the perfect size - not too much work to change it over but with enough space to let you be creative.
ReplyDeleteI quite like your little cupboard, too! Does Audrey talk all the time??? She's such a wonderful little lion!
ReplyDeleteYour little cupboard is lovely; I can see why you have so much fun with it with so many lovely dishes to play around with. But, yes, Audrey, we all agree that you are gorgeous-er!!

That is a great cupboard-- nice size! Beautiful kitties too!
ReplyDeleteYes, little lady lion, you are tops!
ReplyDeleteThe French cupboard is off to a splendid start for the holidays! Love, love, love those little trees! And the little bird is precious (but not as precious as you, Audrey,-just in case your reading this). Can't wait to
see it in all it's seasonal splendor!
What a fun cabinet to decorate for the Holiday season. And hopefully the cats cannot reach it. 3 kittens adopted us (I think they might have been dropped on the highway) I have a picture of Orangie on my blog. Your photos are great.

That is a charming cupboard. I love all the different looks you've managed to create in that space. Love the simplicity of the Christmas trees, as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining in this week!

I have enjoyed watching your cupboard change! I need to get my cute shelf put on the wall when I get home so I can start decorating!
ReplyDeletehugs, Linda

ReplyDeleteLove this, Deb!!! I loved "the ending" hahahaha
ReplyDeleteDonna

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection of cups you have!

I wish we had a wood burning stove. It would be perfect for this wet and cold day. That little bird is adorable. But of course not as adorable as kitty! :D

Yup our wood stove is going to ! I do love that little cabinet and all your collectables . Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteHi Deb, I love how you decorate your little hutch for the seasons/holidays. Beautiful! You have many nice teacups. I know what you mean about cats gravitating to warmth. Gracie was enjoying lying in front of the furnace vent this morning.
ReplyDeleteA cozy way to spend a raw November day =)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your Christmas display.
Audrey is a hoot =)
and also the most gorgeous of anything/one/kitty evah!
That would certainly be one of my favorite things, too! What fun to have it to create little places of happiness for each season! I loved them all, but I especially enjoyed the child's tea set!
ReplyDeleteThat little hutch is so precious. You have done so many different things for each season. Can't wait to see what you come up with for Christmas.

Oh that Sierra is too cute in the sidebar being Santa's name "takin'" bad elf! - even though we know she have a gentler side with a soft spot for Audrey and is a push over for a man in uniform! Love the photo!

Oh, Deb! I love your little cupboard! Looks good in all of the seasons. Now that laughing kitty takes the cake! :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I think I love your little French cupboard as much as you, it's so much fun to see what decorations and ideas you share.
ReplyDeleteAudrey is the most photogenic cat, I believe she actually poses for the camera :)
