Who does not love Beatrix Potter illustrations?
There was even a story on Kep, the collie-dog.
The illustrations are just delightful.
So I thought, anyway . She really just wanted to snooze on the bag in the sunshine.
The weather is fine. We are having a January thaw. The sun is shining and all is right with Sierra's world.
I'm joining Show and Tell Friday at http://romantichome.blogspot.ca/

I love Beatrix Potter! In college, I wrote a children's musical that was done as a puppet show based on some of her stories and characters. I think that Audrey and Sierra are just gorgeous as well, and our 3 kitties send best wishes :)

I love those little books -- the illustrations are so divine. I have a few copies and I think every now and then that I don't need to keep them -- I should pass them on and then I open them up. Nope. They are staying with me! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI love Potter's illustrations =)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that sunbeam, Audrey!
My all time favorite author! I always made sure my children and my grandchildren had Beatrix Potter books. As always, the kitty pictures are so heart-warming! So glad things are warming up for ya'll! Just lovely Deb!
ReplyDeleteMy aunt gave me a set of Beatrix Potter books when I was in my 30s...you are never too old for Ms Potter!

Oh the pop up books are so sweet. I found a small boxed set of Beatrix Potter books for 80 cents! Oh my! Cats in the sunshine warm my heart.

What a beautiful photo of Sierra! Such a sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteThe books were an amazing find! Now you have to collect the lovely, amazingly true to original illustration, English china figurines. I got one in a Goodwill shop for 1.99$. What luck!
Hi Deb,
ReplyDeleteLove Beatrix Potter's book and art work, so wonderful. I just found
4 of those at Target in the $1.00 aisle, go got them to put up for my lil grandaughter that is coming in March. They are not anywhere near as put together as yours tho. You made a great haul.
Have you ever seen the movie Miss Potter, if not, it is a must see
you will love it. When we got it we didn't even know it was about her life but really enjoyed it so much. She had some sad things happen, but what a neat lady.
Nice to meet you here in blogland and thanks for your visit for
