Deb just left to help transport some cats down from the Valleyfield Shelter just west of Montreal.
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/story/2012/12/12/montreal-spca-free-cats.html. Since this plea, the deadline for the cats is now the end of February.
She'll have lots of cats to show you later that still need homes. Like the video states, this shelter is in trouble right now with far more cats than they can house. The cats coming to Carleton Place today will be adopted and are already spayed and neutered. I'll just wait here 'til she gets back to pamper me 'cause it is freezing out there again as the temperature dropped drastically over-night. I hope no one sits on me.
Good luck all you 'crazy cats'.
Chow,
Audrey
Audrey, please say Good Luck to Mummy Deb.

Your mum and the cats are in our prayers. And we are praying extra hard for good people to offer the little ones homes. Of course, the senior cats are always in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteWell Audrey... aren't you curious at all which poor feline soul Deb feels is in need of recue the most?
ReplyDeleteWhom maybe she'll take home with her...?
I am!
Somehow I have a distinct feeling telling me she might just will...
I hope all cats find new homes in time!
Greets,
Gabi
