We had a surprise visit from Little Gwyn and her mom. Gwyn helped Gramps feed the birds and squirrels. Never too early to learn, I think.
It was also a day for me to visit the dentist.
Why is there always a flip-side to everything?
Anyway, here are a few nice pics of the day...(none of me in the dentist chair :-b)
Is this a cherry blossom tree?
"Oh, Lindaaaaaaa"
Soon this tree will be gorgeous with blossoms.
I favor the white lilacs.
See how close the Chickadee's nest is to our front door. She hops from my hanging basket of white geraniums to her little perch on the wooden cat. It's nice and deep in there for her nest.
I'm joining Jody athttp://rootedinthyme.blogspot.ca/ for Simple and Sweet Friday.
hugs, Deb

Hi Deb....not much of an expert when it comes to these flowering trees....
ReplyDeleteCould be a crab too....sorry...not really sure...
But I am sure that Gwynn is a cutie pie, and I also love white Lilacs...AND.....phew....I have the same front slammer as you!
Aren't chickadees the cutest wee birds....
Enjoy your evening....
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I'll take lilacs any way I can get 'em. We don't have them here.
ReplyDeleteGwyn is a little doll.
Yes, the cherry tree blossoms are finally showing themselves. I've been taking shots.
ReplyDeleteMy lilacs aren't quite out yet. My bees would just love those apple blossoms!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't funny how angry the birds get when you 'invade their space'. It's as if it never occurs to them that you lived there and used that porch first.
ReplyDeleteLilacs and apple blossoms! Heaven! I love lilacs and can't grow them here. The kitties have their "own" bird to watch. !!!
ReplyDeleteWell spring is finally finding it's way up there! I know y'all are loving it! So nice to finally get outdoors and see the blooms! Love this picture of precious Gwyn and her Granddad! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love to come here because your blog is full of love!
ReplyDeleteFun post...I had a robin build on the back porch one year and dive bomb me and the dogs all spring!
ReplyDeleteLilacs coming into bloom here too...love them! :)
Darling little one smiling in the stroller...cute shot! :)
Your yard must smell wonderful with all those blossoms! Thanks for sharing.
