The plumbing is done....yah!
The electrical inspection is done....yah!
We lassoed our home inspector and the final inspection is done...Hallelujah!
Now we move.
At the feeders today... not sure what happened here but that is the chickadee's wing you see on the left. Odd!
I must have captured it just as it was pulling it in.
I filled the feeders today for the fifth time this week.
It's a feeding frenzy every day out there.
We have lots to do at the mouse-house as far as pulling it all together but at least I hung a little shelf with tea-cups today.
What could be more important. ;-)
Yes, we had our first cup of tea there today.
We've been living on Timmy's coffee & hot chocolate. Sinful!
This weekend's weather is a bit of everything. Warmer temps. are expected but more snow and cold wind.
We'll just have to bundle up and be the tough Canadians that we are.
Now I have to sit Audrey down again and tell her to start collecting up her ping-pong balls.
Stay toasty,
Deb
Hurray!! Congratulations!!! Your shelf is adorable! Much good luck with the move.
ReplyDeleteAudrey's going to be thinking there'll be hell to pay.
ReplyDeleteThat is a chickadee shot that's one in a lifetime.
Yay for the inspections being done! Moving day is now! Oh Audrey, you will be OK sassy girl!

Lovely News! Perhaps remind darling Audrey that her new home will be "Joe-free".
ReplyDeleteThat look like Super Chickadee with a cape! haha...
ReplyDeleteYes, first things first - up goes the tea cup shelf! Perfect!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations for jobs well done, and now the fun part of moving in.
ReplyDeleteLove your little shelf unit with tea cups and the blocks that say you love cats. :-)
Have a wonderful weekend ~ FlowerLady
YeeHaw! The move is on! Audrey will need her own packing crate!
ReplyDeleteHugs and purrs.....
Nothing like a new nest to break up the monotony of winter!
ReplyDeletePerfect cups! For a new nest:)
ReplyDeleteIt makes me smile to think about you and Audrey sitting down for a serious talk. I'm so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteWow, Deb, since I last visited you guys have really been busy. I've gone back and read all the posts I've missed. The kitchen is so cute. I love that you can see the bird feeders from the window over your kitchen sink. The tile in the bathroom is very pretty. It's very similar to the tile we had in our Colorado cottage. I'm looking forward to seeing your new place after you're all moved in. So sorry it's bitter cold where you are. Glad you're "tough Canadians!" Hugs, Nancy P.S. Love the little teacup shelf. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteOoh, well done, it's moving in time !
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine the look on Audrey's face.....oh no wait, she always has THAT look :)
She's a sweetheart.
Stay warm and snug Deb, love your teacups, so happy-looking.
~Jo
Yay!
ReplyDeleteLet the moving begin!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Yay, you are ready to move! Wait til you see how many cat toys are hiding under your furniture. The cats are going to love exploring the mouse house.
