We had a day of snow falling from early morning 'til early evening. I spent much of the day shovelling the drive-way and enjoying the birds at the feeders. No sooner would I have the drive-way shovelled when it would fill up with snow once again. But it was so beautiful outside with the soft snow falling and the temperature hovering around -7C that I didn't mind a bit.

A winter wonderland today.

It was just brought to my attention that there is neither
a cat nor
a tea-cup in this post.
"Sorry,
Audrey. I'll pay better attention to that next time."
Stay toasty,
Deb
When do you move to your new digs?
ReplyDeleteNext week, Hilary. We are just waiting on an inspection. In the meantime, I'm changing my mind about paint colours. :))
DeleteNuthatches are very difficult to capture....great shot!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Linda :o)
Love the blur of wings!
ReplyDeleteAdorable nuthatch! Aw...I think the are so cute!
Audrey looks a little miffed at you! haha.
That's pretty much her look for everything, Betsy.
DeleteAudrey expects things to be just so.
ReplyDeleteThe woodpecker looks very distinctive among these birds.
What a snowy day again! Lovely birds - that adorable chickadee!
ReplyDeleteAudrey expression is so precious!
Take care shoveling Deb.

ReplyDeleteYou have a nice variety of birds there.. I wish the RB Nuthatch would come to my yard.. It has been a few years.. Great shots!
ReplyDeleteBrrrrrr! I wouldn't be able to handle your cold weather. I've been down here in s.e. FL since 1960.
ReplyDeleteThe photos are beautiful and I love the blur of wings in that last photo of birds.
Of course, it is always wonderful to see Miss Audrey. She does look a little disgruntled in that photo. :-)
I bet you can hardly wait to move in to your new place. Have fun picking paint colors.

Beautiful variety of bird friends! And, elegant Audrey. =) Have a good day, Deb. blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteYou will have to add birds to the cats and teacups! You are going to have such a wonderful time birdwatching (along with Audrey and gang).
ReplyDeleteHugs and Purrs....
So many feeders! We have quite a few, but I'm beginning to think you have one per bird!
ReplyDeleteSnow here as well. With another storm scheduled for the beginning of next week.
I'm going to have to cut off all communication with my friends in Florida.
Some excellent pictures. I like the one of the chickadee in flight. And what a morose expression Audrey is wearing!
ReplyDeleteOh my... so much snow!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post! I absolutely love your bird feeders. The wooden one is so beautiful. I think I'm going to get a nice cup and saucer to make a feeder like yours. I just love it.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many beautiful birds on your property =)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds! I loved seeing your photos Deb!
ReplyDeleteYes, such a lovely winter wonderland. Beautiful, Deb.
ReplyDeleteLove,
