Of course, others had a different idea on how to spend this rainy day.
Annie
French toast was in order.
Oh, yum yum.
Then Kane needed a bath.
"Mmmmmm...you smell nice, puppy.''
The mouse-house needed a cleaning...
swish...swish... ALL DONE!
(source)
and baking some yummy banana muffins was in order, too.
Because no matter what the weather, there is always time for tea. Right, ladies. :)
hugs, Deb
Snoozing would be a good idea. I was out in it for a photograph, and the rain was bone chilling.
ReplyDeleteYou got that right, Deb.....
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a cosy day!
I love French toast......just sayin'!
Enjoy your week...
Cheers!
Linda :o)

Sounds like a lovely day. Love that first picture!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Annie! What a cute picture. But I love having tea on a cold rainy day, it just seems to taste better then.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a rainy day to let you catch up on the inside chores! You got lots of things done! I love days like that.....and muffins and tea is a wonderful reward!
ReplyDeleteOh yes!
ReplyDeleteAnd muffins ;)
Perfect rainy day!
ReplyDeleteAlways time for tea. Yes, sir! And, a nap! I haven't had French toast in ages ... yum.
ReplyDeleteHugs and purrs.....
Always time for tea!!
ReplyDeleteRain rain go away come again some other day! And it's windy here too...
ReplyDeleteDefinitely always time for a nice cuppa!
ReplyDeleteWe've had heavy rain too - certainly dashed the azaleas to the ground BUT lovely sunny day tomorrow so perhaps they'll perk up again and I will be able to enjoy them for a few more days before leaving.
Look at that Annie pic - adorable Deb.
Hugs - Mary
Kane and Annie look so cosy. Sweet.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, do stop for tea!
Love,
Lily
Dearest Deb,
ReplyDeleteWell yes, we have a daily tea routine and enjoy it.
Funny, our kitties have been quite cranky last week as it almost rained every day, except Saturday when they all went outside. No sunshine but dry...
Sunday was the worst, we had the lights on around 2:00 PM when we called my Dad in The Netherlands... Heavy thunderstorms with rain.
Annie knows what to do in such an event and at times we too like to hibernate but there's always something to do! You spent your time well too.
Hugs,
Mariette
Cats always know the appropriate way to spend a day, don't they?
ReplyDeleteSome of us blokes/men/guys drink tea to! :).
ReplyDeleteJust as l am at this very moment...Cheers!
HeHe! Pee~Po Annie....Bless!x
Now where's the lovely...A.A.
That photo of Annie is a prize-winner. I hope you enter it someplace! And tea, yes! Looks as though today will be much like yesterday. Lizzie and I will hunker down -- although right now she is in the doghouse (or cat house?) for inappropriate behavior. The kitchen rug is NOT the litterbox.
ReplyDeleteYour posts always are like reading a sweet little book. The muffins look delicious.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better than a nice cup of tea on a rainy day! Love the picture of Annie.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed always time for tea and yummy treat . It is chilly and windy here today but the sun pops out every now and then . Lovely photos . Oh Kane looks like he really didn't want that bath lol ! and kitty has the right idea on a rainy day napping lol . Have a good day !
