Just like any teenager,
Audrey doesn't take "No" for an answer.
"No" from her mom, Annie, when she attempts to take over her favorite basket.
And....sometimes she wins.
This time mom gave up and went to the bed.
I placed my hydrangea outside for a few days to climatise it to the out-doors but the sun was too warm (imagine that) and the leaves dried up so back it comes and now I have to get it back to a healthier state.
I would like to plant it near the well this summer.
The cardinals have arrived so I'm heading out with some sunflower seeds.
We have wonderful weather today and the sun is shining.
Best not waste it.
hugs, Deb
Three cheers for the princess!
ReplyDeleteHip~Hip~Hoorah! :). Bless!x
So the cardinals have arrived...Never had
cardinals...Had a couple of bishops visit
once...Oh! And a priest...Never a cardinal..! :>).
Audrey's just being herself. Yesterday's sun was glorious; today it's rain but the rain is needed.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice of Annie to LET Audrey have the basket.
ReplyDeleteKitty dynamics are always fun.
ReplyDeleteWe are still dealing with cool weather in Nova Scotia.
There are promises of warmer weather next week.
Do you need another basket or box, so that the girls can have one each? Enjoy your sunshine.
ReplyDeleteAh, Audrey, no respect even for dear Mother, I see.

ReplyDeleteoh, Cardinals...... some day I hope to see one in person...but, so far they don't come this direction... although, somebody said they have been seen just south of us...and, may eventually make it this far... I don't know how low the temps are that they can withstand... and oddball snowstorms etc... all of which we, in this neck of the woods, are prone to ... sigh.........
ReplyDeleteIt's no wonder they all want the basket. It looks warm and cozy. I'm Glad you are having a pretty day.
ReplyDeleteIt's always interesting to see the interactions between Momcats and their kids. Especially with feisty little daughters like Audrey.
ReplyDeleteI might have known that Audrey wouldn't give up easily.
ReplyDelete<3 Have a nice Friday and delicious weekend!
ReplyDeleteI need to move mine outside, too. I fear the opposite, though -- too cold!
ReplyDeleteCats and their little power plays! I see that you've been able to decorate your cozy interim house--that's something that hasn't happened here in the farmhouse yet. I miss my treasured bits and pieces which have been packed out of sight for several months.
ReplyDeleteI have a basket on my desk that is a first-come-first-serve with the cats. One does look disappointed when they jump up to find it is already filled!
ReplyDeleteHoney pushes Naomi out of my lap all the time! SHe's very sly about it, but she does it. Bossy cats!!
