For me, it was watching Annie claim the tray I placed on the ottoman while being photo-bombed by the cushion cat.
My first beefsteak tomato. Just in time for veggie burger night.
They are one of the largest cultivated tomatoes.
This beautiful book that I love to look at over and over again.
It is candy for the eyes.
Gifts from the Herb Garden by Emelie Tollley & Chris Mead.
The sun is shining and the humidity is all but gone.
It's a beautiful morning to hit the market for some fresh produce, just out-of-the-oven oat bread & maybe some blueberry scones. :)

This Post of course....HeHe! Creep! Creep!
ReplyDeleteActually my first smile was looking out the back door,
and seeing Flossy sitting on the patio table, at 6:30
waiting for her saucer of milk...Giving me that old dark,
black look, and saying...'where've you been'...! :). Bless!
And, yes, congratulations to daughter and hubby...great
news...Must be something in the air over there...! :).
Started with a BIG smile, so lets finish with one...! :)))))))).
Happy Days......!x

Congratulations on your news ... a new grand little on the way ... what could be better???? (Maybe an Audrey clone????!!!!!) Nothing better than a home grown tomato. Annie is such a peach...!!
ReplyDeleteHugs and Purrs....
Congratulations! Good news indeed for all! It's fun to visit again -- I've been on and offline a lot and so behind. Rick made it to Ottawa but I never got that far -- crazy summer but a delightful one! Fun to see your brood again!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cats - beautiful tomatoes………..or beautiful cats - gorgeous tomatoes! Either way it looks perfect there Deb.

ReplyDeleteAnnie's looking like a sweetheart.
One of the things that made me smile was seeing pictures from my son and his family's camping trip and how much fun they had.
ReplyDeleteAnd another would of course seeing the post :-)

Congrats on the joyous news! Give your gorgeous mum-to-be daughter a big hug from us.
ReplyDeleteAnnie's facial coloration makes her look like she's glowing from within. Or radiating an inner light. Something quite ethereal about your girl there is.
What made me smile today? The outside threesome... skinny mama, Termite (her tiny kitten), and Polly ( 6 month old kitten from another feral mama that took her other kitten and left Polly alone in our yard. Now these 3 have formed their own little family!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cat pics! And congrats on being a grandma again!!
Congratulations, how exciting. Love the photo bombed picture xx
ReplyDeleteWhat made me smile....news of your family's upcoming blessing. Gail
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute selfie ! and the tomatoes look so yummy ! Congratulations too !
ReplyDeleteDearest Deb,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit to the Cat Dining Room!
Got way behind due to my PC having died on Tuesday... Got my new iMac but it takes a while before things work smoothly again.
What made me smile today... That I woke up with a restored back, having had severe back pain the past couple of weeks. Knowing that I did too much but so glad I pulled off a successful Etiquette Class for 11 girls + dinner at our home on the 15th and last night another dinner for 6 at our home. Now I can relax... PC time as it pours cats and dogs. We have had some very wet days lately.
Your news is certainly great news to look forward to! Blessings to your family and also for your fur babies.
Hugs,
Mariette
A new little one...how wonderful! That will certainly brighten up your dull winter February, won't it? :)
