An invasion of bunnies

Easter Baskets
They're always fun to put together for children.
This year I have four grandittles to spoil.
Straw baskets
felt bunnies
hopping chicks
Easter stories
It's all lots of fun
with delicious chocolate delights tucked inside.

Hand-made cards by Nana.
The bunnies are having a blast.

I thought I might get some help
from Annie
but she was too busy
watching for turkeys.

The sun is out
Simon is running about.
Good that he laid low yesterday
as turkeys
are his enemy.
:-(

hugs, Deb

  1. Simon could probably smell those turkeys! I didn't know they would go after a chipmunk!

Those Easter baskets are adorable. I have some to make today, too....no little ones, but I still spoil my five men and lady. Fun to do!

  4. Hi Deb! Easter baskets look great! We do the same, but didn't even think to take pics this year. And Julie is the one who helps at my house. She likes to chew the ribbon... Love the bunnies everywhere!

  6. PATIENCE.....

    Chocolate Easter bunny
    In a jelly bean nest,
I’m saving you for very last
    Because I love you best.
    I’ll only take a nibble
From the tip of your ear
And one bite from the other side
So that you won’t look queer.
    Yum, you’re so delicious!
    I didn’t mean to eat
    Your chocolate tail till Tuesday.
    Ooops! There go your feet!
I wonder how your back tastes
    With all that chocolate hair.
    I never thought your tummy
    Was only filled with air!
