The aftermath

It was a busy weekend
with two beautiful days for outside fun.

"Are you asleep, Audrey? Are you, are you....

The grandittles had a fun time; always something to do here.
I love a weekend of visitors.
And they love to visit.

Although,

 it's exhausting for some.

=^..^= =^..^=

I haven't seen much of those two today.

zzzzzzzzzzzz

hugs, Deb

  3. What darling kiddos! Is that a slug on the ground? I laughed when I saw the photo of the little one in the wagon, for at first I thought he was eating that thing! ;-) Don't you love it when the kids enjoy adventures outdoors! And yes, isn't it exhausting to everyone. LOL And yet so worth it. xo - Judy

  4. Looks like fun all around. The fur girls say"we can take just so much excitement". Nap time is so spontaneous!
    Love the update.

  9. The grandittles are growing like weeds - pretty weeds of course!
Love to see them playing outside in the fresh air and learning about Nature - so many kids no longer seem to do that.
Well another week with things to do and places to go - and I'm still coughing thanks to the European bug I brought home, but somewhat better overall. Trying to get my Italy posts caught up - so many photos and much to share but I'll gradually get through them!

Have a great one - sending sunshine and warm days your way!
    Hugs - Mary

  10. Look at those young and happy faces enjoying your woods! What a wonderful opportunity for them to discover the outdoors and play -- not just video play!

Those other two faces look too pooped to participate!

  11. Since I rescued two German Shepherds, my old indoor Calico cat has been urinating COPIOUS amounts. I keep them completely separate, never on the same side of a closed door. Blood tests and urine tests show nothing. So the vet suggested it was maybe stress. Do your two do this after a stressful weekend?

    1. No, they don't. They find the children annoying so keep their distance but I don't believe they are afraid of them. It sounds like your calico is frightened of the dogs and is trying to ward them off by claiming her territory. You might want to calm her a bit by adding more litter boxes and keeping the dogs far away from her. Perhaps, if possible, on a different floor. She just doesn't understand why they have appeared.

  13. Deb, did you know that when I try to comment, the interwebs takes me to some weird place and I have to come back and try a 2nd time? Don't know what that is about. Love the photo of exhausted Audrey...she's doing a drama queen thang!

    1. If you can let me know the link that you are sent to I will check that out. I have my virus check done regularly so I don't know what that is.
