Our little Annie.

Our Annie has gone through major surgery again to remove a malignant tumor;
much like she did two years ago.
The surgeon is very hopeful that it will not re-occur.
I am staying by her for the next few days in hopes that she has an easy recovery
from this ordeal.
So far she is moving around, eating and getting lots of rest.
She sees the surgeon again on Monday.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I will be back to share our Easter photos
(although I'm sure you are all done with that )
of the egg hunt in our woodlot.
It was so much fun and the day was perfect. :-)

Thank you in advance,
Deb

  3. Our babies tug at our heartstrings in so many ways and I know you are well experienced at feeling that tug. But I also know that in people like you that have so much love and care to give all that painful tugging serves to strengthen your heartstrings enabling you to love and care for them even more. I am so sorry Annie had to go through this again but she is in good hands. You both have my love and prayers.

  9. Oh Deb, I'm so sorry. Annie has got to be the sweetest kitty around. For sure she is in the best hands and will get the best care. After leaving a comment on your last post I worried because I didn't mention Annie and Wilson. Will you give them a hug for me? Love, Henny

  24. Your dear little Annie--and you as her caregiver--are much in my thoughts. I have sometimes wondered if the cats/kittens we rescue from a deprived background are more prone to health issues later in life [?] I hope Annie's recovery is complete and she will be with you many more years.

  25. I am sorry I missed this. I hope that by now Annie's recovery has progressed. What an ordeal for her to go through; I think the worst of it is that we cannot explain to our pets why they must undergo such tribulations as surgery. But here's a fervent wish that she never has to suffer it again. God bless her.
