Give-away

The weather is gorgeous here today. Cool and sunny. I am just back from caring for Helma the German Shepherd who belongs to a friend of my husband. I don't normally provide care for dogs but Helma is a 'model dog' and I enjoy pampering her with combings and massages. I visit her twice a day and she runs 2 acres of land when I'm not there. It is all fenced in and she guards it with her life. Darling dog! She comes in to the house through a dog-door any time she pleases and sleeps on her owner's bed. Not a bad life. (I was about to put eh! there but I should stop doing that. Proud Canadian here but really.

Well, as promised I want to have a Give-away and since tomorrow is my birthday  (gag!) I'll give you a chance to win a few gifts.  So, I have a book on health (very radical but interesting). Gary says if you read this you will think that I am a wacko for liking it. Make up your own mind and then we'll talk about it later.
a gorgeous kitty tea-towel
that would look cute in any kitchen or cat-room (yes, some people have cat rooms) and a pretty pair of drop earrings with a pearl for when you want to 'glamour-up'. I'm done with glamouring-up for awhile.

I purchased them as a give-away when I was shopping for earrings for the wedding.
And for your kitty or a kitty you may know,  I will be sending along a cat-dancer. This is the one toy all my cats will get off their lazy duffs and play with. It's always a sure-thing. Even at 22 years of age this will get Mr. Ed off the couch. It's hilarious to watch him go.
So, if you follow along then let me know and I will put your name in twice. If you are not a follower,  you still have a chance and I will drop your name into the hat once.

Good Luck everyone. You have 'til Friday evening.
I'll be caring for a velvet black beauty with big gold eyes starting tomorrow. Ebony will be featured soon.

Hugs, Deb

  11. We don't have a blog 'cause mum is too thick. Well, she does spend a lot of time taking care of gran- Alzheimers you know. Can we still be in for the drawing?
