Busy weekend comin'

My mind is on Thanksgiving today.  The Canadian Thanksgiving is this coming Monday and we will have our dinner that day. Gary & I have a wedding to attend on Saturday and then Sunday will be the day to prepare the feast.
The mom and kits had more visitors yesterday. Annie just loves to meet people and she takes great pride in showing off her babies. She is such a beautiful girl.

My daughter is at a farm hostel in Ecuador. I received this today on my facebook.
Miss u too mama! Just finished a really fun camping trip at a beautiful farm hostel. Went horseback riding, mountain biking and climbed Cotopaxi volcano. You would have loved the place, lots of animals, organic cooking, and breathtaking sights. Can't wait to show u pics, having trouble uploading them on my phone.

Kane and I went for our usual walk today and I don't have a 'cat in window' for you but will a 'cat on roof' do?

He seriously needs his nails clipped.

Hugs, Deb

  3. Love the cat on the roof. And, of course, the babies. I thought of you today. I went to our local mill/feed supplier that takes in unwanted kittens and puts them up for adoption. A few weeks back there was a cage full and many have (thankfully) been adopted. Today I played with one of the tiny black ones and carried him around till he fell asleep. The other two in the cage were playing together but I couldn't help myself and I picked them up and played with them too. I don't always buy stuff when I'm there (seed, salt, etc.) but the owner is happy to see me because she says I'm helping to socialize the animals. I think I'm lowering my blood pressure on my lunch hour at work!
