Early bookings and let's have tea

It's been raining & I'm  vacuuming again.
Audrey is delighted when we find her missing ping-pong balls under the couch.

Cleaning up after a multi-cat household + one dog is not for the weak.
It has to be done daily and I know that is not for everyone. I understand. I just think my crew is worth it.
I should have the most muscular arms in the world for a Nana.  Like Popeye arms.

On to business..

Bookings are being made for Christmas cat-sitting already (+ 1 bunny). Many cat-owners are very organized and having their cats' needs met over the holidays takes front seat with them. Wonderful! Looks like the cat-bag will be bursting at the seams. This morning I played some Christmas music while updating my board and figuring out my routes. I know it's early; sorry folks...I'm a Christmas NUT. After 3 songs though, I had had enough.

                                                                  Let's have Tea..

I tried another tea that is new to me today from the box of many flavours. This one is Mango Passion Fruit Tea. It was very good but a little 'tart'. Adding honey made it perfect.

 Yes, I have company.

I love all the detail on this tea-pot that I purchased at a thrift shop for $12.00. Tea-cup was found at a different antique shop for $2.00.  They seem to belong together.

Enjoy your day, hug a cat and have some tea.
I'll be vacuuming.
hugs, Deb

  1. I just finished vacuuming but it isn't a every day thing for me even though I have a dog and cat with longish fur ! During the day our dog Miggy likes to be out side under our covered porch watching nature and snoozing and our cat Harley well she mainly stays on her post bed in the spare bedroom other then to come down to get some food and use her kitty liter . I sweep up in between my vacuuming day . I guess having lots of animals indoors would be different and a lot more work lol wonderful photos. Have a good evening !

  4. I just bought a Dyson too. I have the cheapest one, but they have a pet special one too, that would be perfect for you. Honestly the best vacuum ever. The carpets look like they have been steam cleaned.

  5. I love the mango passionfruit. I find the tartness invigorating. Because I live in a very hot climate, most of my house is tile. A quick damp mop and I'm all ready to go!

  6. Our mom called our cat sitter about Thanksgiving and she was already booked. Mom may be reconsidering her travel plans.

  9. Hi Deb, with my Goldie Girl we are always vacuuming, a never ending duty. Audrey is a beautiful kitty. The Christmas Cat sitting sounds wonderful. I am a coffee drinker but I do love green tea with mint once in awhile. Wishing you a happy weekend!

  11. I'm always envious of you Canadians that after Halloween you can concentrate on Christmas...we are still in Thanksgiving mode, or should be anyway. I have wood floors and lots of cat hair I sweep up! Ugh! hugs, Linda

  12. Your day sounds like my 'cup o' tea' ! I have just begun playing the Christmas music, and rearranging things in order to decorate.I love, love,LOVE the way you've decorated your hutch with teacups and Christmas ornaments.

You are so right about keeping house clean with furry family members around.( sometimes that can include a husband too )We have 2 cats and 3 dogs that are house-pets vacuuming is the #1 daily job. Having my animals around it is worth it and I could not imagine life without them.

I love the way you show so much enthusiasm and joy for what you do.
