Black Beauties

"Gotcha Toots."

A gift from my daughter
Cast iron hanger.
On the wall it will look like this...

but I won't be hanging it yet.

And one of my favorite vases that now holds lilac branches.

It will look even better filled with purple lilacs.

"Oh, alright Joe."
He figures he has enough black beauty that he should be included in this post.
And since he posed so nicely for me,  while watching the birds enjoy new suet and an apple this morning at the feeders, I am including him, too.
He's still in love with Annie but she loathes him.

The sun is shining and the temps are rising today.
I have some cat-sitting to do and a Mother's Day card to buy and mail to my 91 year old MIL.
I wish I could hand deliver it as I miss her. I must plan a trip soon.

hugs, Deb

  2. We have that exact three prong hook system! It is where we hang all our dog leashes/paraphernalia! Love it! Did you get the email about Mitalee? She is doing great now! Thanks again for all your help!

  7. For two decades we had a succession of black half-Siamese cats. They were wonderfully slender, shiny, and slinky. Its been awhile since I've had a black cat--not that I'm lacking in felines.

  8. We used to have a Tootsie. She was a tortie, though. We do have sisters Grizelda and Chloe Jo, now. Grizelda is our black beauty. Chloe Jo is our black cutie. Hugs.

Poor Joe. The course of true love never did run smooth.

  11. Joe is such a pretty boy. How can Annie turn him down? Poor guy. Our black kitty has been slipping past me when I open the door. She loves it outside and has been staying close by. I wish she could just stay outside since she loves it so, but we have too much traffic.
