Good food and great company

Wow...is this cute or what!
I'm still dreaming a little today. I have to or I'll lose my mind. My house is a disaster area with the renovations going on. What is helping me stay somewhat sane is to keep the kitchen and bathroom (on the main floor) in good order and throwing my hands up for the rest. "Walk away, Deb....walk away."

I had a lunch date with two of my favorite people today,  Jess and Gwynn. We had lunch at the Good Food Co. in our little town.
Just look at this amazing food. It really is one of the best places to eat.

This is what kept me smiling today.

Nan's camera-case kept someone occupied for quite some time.

I love the quaintness of this restaurant.

All their desserts are home-made and delicious. How I walked away from that blueberry cheese-cake, I'll never know.
Then we headed to the park where Gwynn got her fill of screaming, happy kids and big, goofy seagulls walking around. She had a fun time and I imagine she'll be 'sleepin' like a baby' tonight. :)

She gave Riverside Park a 'high ten' today. We'll be going back soon.

How are things at home, Audrey?

ok...I won't ask.

 hugs, Deb

  3. I don't know where you get all the pictures of the great kitchens, but they are indeed images to dream about. But I prefer cute babies.

  4. Gwyn is such a cutie and growing so fast. I think the Good Food Co sounds like a place I'd like (with or without dessert). I really did laugh out loud at Audrey.

  5. Gosh its terrible to be 'under construction' isn't it?! A year and a half ago we were recovering from the 'flood' ....drying blowers blowing constantly day after day then the banging of repair work.....dust everywhere...... i do not envy you but i surely sympathize..... Hang in there Audrey! Hugs! deb

  6. Good luck with the renovation. Isn't it wonderful to spend time at the park with a special little one? I was there yesterday with my little guy. That food does look quite amazing too.

  9. Audrey would have probably enjoyed the park too, instead of the hubbub at home.

Audrey's death glare is most formidable!

  12. I thought that first picture at the top was your kitchen. It really is cute. As is Gwynn... and Audrey! Love those country sinks... and the ceiling beams... and french doors!
