I get her.

Audrey loves going on adventures even if it's just to Canadian Tire for oil.
Here she is waiting on the retired-guy and watching all the human beans go by.

She is in a crate while we are driving, though, for fear she opens a window and jumps out.
She'd do that, ya know.
She was a 'good girl' (for Audrey) so the next stop was to pick her up a little something new to avoid boredom setting in.
She has claimed it and it is by far her new favorite hang-out. She uses it for bird-watching but I may have to put a blankie inside so she can make a hidey-hole.

                                             "She gets me."

=^..^=

  1. I can't believe she loves to ride in the car! My cats think they are going to the vet and spaz out! haha.

  2. I agree--so cute!
All of our cats, on the other hand, would go completely ballistic in the car. Probably would have been better if we'd have taken them on rides other than to the vet. Think? Nebraska ><>

  3. Wow! I wish my cats would enjoy car rides. My one cat would meow and get so stressed out and spontaneously shed what seemed to be all her fur. Audrey looks pretty pleased with her new digs. -Jenn

  9. I cannot let my two fur girls see this post because for sure that climbing, perching, sleeping item would be first on their Santa list. (col) Your girls are very lucky that you get them so well.

  11. My husband had a Siamese cat at his place of work. He had a huge old mill and he let the cat have free reign. Every so often he would bring him home, in the land rover sat at the front with his paws on the dashboard. He used to watch all the traffic and hardly move, the best bit was at traffic lights when people in other cars would clock him, then it was pointing and laughing. He loved the trips out and would happily settle at our home for the few days he was there. Love Audrey; what a character. Love Andie xxx

  19. I haven't had the nerve to take Lizzie without a carrier, though Stimpy never had one. This looks like such a fun adventure -- your perch makes me smile!

  20. Sometimes I think Audrey is human, and Annie too. Both look like they know just what you are saying. They are so cute and Audrey makes me laugh every time. I'm wondering now how Smokey would do riding in the car.

  21. Isn't it amazing how our animals become part of our psyche? We know all their little quirks and what pleases them. Kind of like a marriage...that's why it's so hard when you lose them, I guess.
