"Happy New Year"

We had a wonderful Christmas with the whole family. No need to ask if it was noisy. lol
Five grandittles...from left...Gus, Gwynn, Tenley, Riley & Brad
Gramps looks pretty proud, doesn't he? :)
 And an afternoon tea
was enjoyed on a frigid cold December day.
The mouse-house welcomed many beautiful visitors over the holidays.
 Some rather rare.
Male Pileated Woodpecker
 An one uninvited party crasher.
 Sharp shinned hawk
Oh, Lord!

And as the year comes to an end...
Here's to a fabulous new year, everyone. May you all be happy, peaceful, healthy, safe and warm.
Thank you for your wonderful friendship in 2017.  I look forward to continuing on this fun ride with you as we welcome in the new year and see what's in store for us all.

Annie & Audrey are well and send you all purrs and hugs.
Simon...well, he's asleep for a loooong time.

                       "Happy New Year."

hugs, Deb

  2. Oh wow! What an amazing picture of the Pileated Woodpecker. And that hawk! You do such a good job of keeping the birds and little animals fed in this cold weather. We're having very cold weather right now...ten days predicted with below freezing temperatures for the high! That is unheard of around here. Our pond is frozen and I'm having a hard time keeping water thawed for the animals and birds to drink.

Deb, you have a beautiful family! Such pretty grandchildren!

I can honestly say that your blog, your writing about Audrey and Annie, and all the little animals there has given me many happy moments in 2017. Thank you! I wish you all a very Happy New Year!!

  5. Deb, you have such a beautiful family! Man, that Riley is growing up! Have been following your blog since she was just a babe so it's fun to see her growing up. You have made the years so much fun for me too with your stories of your own kitties and the others you care for. Love your bird pics too. Can't wait now to see the inside of your new home when it finally gets finished. You'll have so much room you won't know what to do with it all. LOL.
Happy New Year to you and the Retired Guy from a friend in frigid Nebraska ><>

  21. Your gathering for the holidays really looked such fun - I know you were happy to have them all around Deb.
The birds are certainly lucky when they have people such as you and I feeding and watering them! How can we not care for them in this bitter cold - they bring so much color and joy to our gardens.
Hope things are moving along with the house dear, can't be easy in the snow and cold. Eventually all will be completed and you will be celebrating springtime in a beautiful new home.

Stay warm and well, Happy New Year to you all.
    Hugs - Mary x
