Thankful Thursday + Cat-tip-for-the-day =^..^= introducing new cats slowly

I am very thankful for my 2 'small businesses' 'cause I have lots of fun with both of them.

Cat-tip - we are integrating my daughter's cats to our cats for the summer. I believe in 'baby steps' although some people might say to just drop them in the middle and let them work it out. I would rather let them come out of a safe and quiet room when they are good and ready. This seems to be the preferred solution here and I will keep you posted as to how the 'chowder' of cats work it out. This is day 3 and so far the two new cats like to stay put where they are safe, warm & well-fed and they will venture out soon, I am sure. The young calico is more curious and daring but poor little Joey who is around 5 years is not putting one paw out the door yet. It is interesting to see how they figure this out.

  1. That's wonderful, when you love your work, because it's not really "work!" :-)

I admit my job can be tedious, but my co-workers (okay, all but one) and boss make up for that. Knock on wood!

  3. Good luck, but I'm sure they will all end up being the best of friends if they have enough time to get used to the environment and each other...The kitty in your arms is gorgeous; love those fluffy furs!...Have a fun day, Deb.

  4. WE think that is a great idea to introduce them all slowly. Those look like great dog biscuits. I need to get some and then do a review on them for you. We have two woofies along with tons of cats. Can't buy anything right now, but in June I will see what I can do.
