Needing Time to Grieve

Maggie at her finest.
.
Maggie (July 27, 1992 - May 23, 2010)

My little Mag lost her battle today. Dr. Anne found a mass on her kidney that was already causing her problems and she has been battling a respiratory problem for over a year. Since Friday she has not been well and I knew that the time had come to let her go. I need some time to cope with my feelings. It has been a roller-coaster ride with emotions this week. Maggie's love would always mend my soul. Now I need to learn to live without her.

  1. Dear sweet Deb. I am so sorry for your loss of your wonderful little Maggie! I have tears in my eyes as I type this. You show us each time you post that you have a deep love for your furry children and I know this loss is hard. She and you fought hard but you were wise to know when the time had come. I know your heart will always have a special place for her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  14. Just so you know, your fur children never leave you, they are always around. I was told that mine are all with me, and I should be trippin' all over the place! She will wait, then you will see her again.
